- Don't reply to flaming
- Don't get involved in flaming
- If you start flaming consistently you are called a troll
- It is easy to stay unknown of anonymous online
- Having a secret identity can make people more brave
- Treat other people the way you want to be treated
- Don't be rude to people if you don't want people to be rude back
- Make your messages easy to read and understand
- Don't use language that you would usually use with your friends to you teachers
- Don't write in all capitals it seems liike you're yelling
- On the internet it can be hard to tell the difference between a friendly joke and real cruelty
- Humour isn't always obvious in writing
- Read what you write before you send it
- Once your message is out it's out
- Ask permission before posting stuff about other people
- People's personal information is private
- The internet is not a private place
